Creation is a feeling one gets when they want to make something. Accomplishment is the feeling one gets when the creation is done. It can be either good or bad.

I think Buttercup wants to kick my ass cause she's alone without her sisters.

(Yes, I 3D Printed her. She was very hard cause she is so small - about 3 inches tall.)

2009... It's a Lenovo S10E Netbook, which with a Mac iBook G4 I used to finish up college and get my degree. LIttle bad boy is my creation arts laptop, all the art after my 2nd year here was done on that laptop... And she still works!

Shit man, I hate to say this but my Aspire One was more powerful that Lenovo and even with 2 gigs of RAM and a Samsung SSD, it was still a fuckin' dog. I sold it just to get rid of it.

Then again, you're running XP and mine was running 7, so the hardware difference is not very apparent.

After another year, that Lenovo is going to be completely obsolete.

Ha! I got 5 Lenovos, 2 are running 7, and 3 XP; all with 3GB of RAM.
Also got 2 Aspire Ones, one is running OSX 10.6 or 7 and Unbuntu, the other XP.

Obsolesce only happens when one can no longer run the machine they have with the software they want. I'm not pushing these units. MS Office '97, Photoshop CS3, Inkscape and a few other things I use it for. Nothing more and it serves me well. One the Win 7 units runs my 3D Printers and does all the slicing and dicing of files.

Then again, I'm still using my Vic20, C64, Atari 800 and Atari ST 1040 on software I can run nowhere else. Sadly I'm still looking for an Amiga replacement for my A600 I had that will not break the bank. People putting "Vintage" on Computer on eBay and they think they can add 2 Zeros to the price that machine is worth!

Ironically, I'm selling off all my extra computers. In the last year I've sold 3 laptops.

A C64? Man, I started to learn about programing on one of those back when I was about 11. Used it mostly for gaming. So many games on that I wish I could still play. That thing had a set of gory games on it. Barbarians was one of them. I could get to the wizard at the end of it right after the black barbarian, but could never beat the wizard.

For me, a PC is obsolete once I know of a setup I wish I can have but can't afford. I just got a new PC, just last week. It is a far cry however from what I really would want to get. At least this new one I got can do the one thing I got it for. That is letting me play Lucky's Tale on the Rift. For that much alone, I am happy with it, despite it being fresh out of the factory and already obsolete to me.

As for me, there is no such thing as too fast of a PC. But when working with such programs such as LightWave 3D or ZBrush, even as a non professional hobby, one needs to have top rate PC. Like many 3D CG hobbyists, I can never afford one. 0.o

As for Buttercup up top. Neat! ^.^

I wonder how well I can make her if I was to sculpt her out of clay? Three in tall? I have a few I made a little smaller than that. So that might not be too hard to do, if I make her only two in tall, I think.

I have a Sonic hand made model I made, only one in tall. I can post it, if you wish to see it. ^.^
