I am in the US. Here you can only ride them on the road in farming areas. The way the law is written a motorcycle can only have up to 3 wheels. So a quad would have to meet the requirements of a car to be registered for road use.

Oh dear, that's awful. And I thought everything was easier and looser in the USA. But here in the country a separate quad driving license is required. I'm lucky because I got my driver's license early, so I don't need an extra license.
