Hey, guys, miss me? I've been working on some music and trying to stay sane with all the shit going on around me...I think I'll be fine though. I have some time to myself now and will post things or at least update my journals more frequently. Here is a sampler of many tracks I am working on.

1 - Untitled. A black metal like composition. Really just a spontaneous thing, just started by playing some beats, and took a really heavy, dark feel from it, so I tried bass and guitar parts to match. The guitars are fake, but I hope to record the lead for real one day.
2 - "Come Near" A piece expressing the loneliness and longing I felt being away from my mate for so long, and my need for affection. Even thought it's almost all digital, highly processed sound, I feel like I really manages to communicate my emotions.
3 - Untitled. A nice, accessible electropop piece, with some actual brains behind it. If I get on this and expand it, and get a good singer over it, I might have a marketable piece of music here. I really doubt it though, and even if it did, I would wanna deal with all the corporate BS. Also, the production is cool, actually preserves some dynamics and lets things breathe.
4 - "World X-4 (Subshredder Metal Mix)" A skull-pounding remix of the World 4 theme from Eversion. I absolutely love how this one's coming out, and I really hope to expand the original theme into some more brutal, twisted, off-kilter cyber metal. Hope you have good sub response!
5 - "Firis". A concept piece for my ENVERSE world, a demonstration of the Nazrian heritage of classical music. In-universe, this is a duet for bpatariul, a traditional Nazrian string instrument. The odd time signature changes and juxtaposition of harmonies are meant to recall the turbulent path of a snowflake falling and blowing in the wind (Firis is Nazrian for "snow".)
6 - "Pieces". A killer chaotic IDM track that I'm working on. I'm amazed by how I was able to balance the production on this one. It sounds loud and wild but isn't super-saturated, which is good, because it still needs lead work and special effects. This one's another subwoofer blaster.
7 - Untitled. A chilled-out remix of the Spain theme from Outrunners, also incorporating a mishearing of a riff from Lady Gaga's "Alejandro". Everything is digitally sequenced. Not much to say about this one.
8 - "Teemo Afhéliinx - Video Theme". An in-universe theme song for one of my boyfriend's characters for ENVERSE, Teemo. He aspires to be a professional hoverboarder, and this is a WIP for a theme that qould go along with a demo video. I want it to build over time, so this is just the beginning.
9 - "Syncope" Another electropopish number, but with more of a classical influence. I think it gets too poppy too fast, but there's definitely good groundwork here.
