In the story arc where the Resistance fought against the Dark Empire for the second time Eri was by herself against Dante so she had the chose to face him. Dante was unfazed with because he knows that it isn't a worthy fight, but she really did held her own which impressed Dante. Seeing the courage in her heart Dante spared her life for now.
