And It's finished. A portrait of Rin Miyuki, aka "winter". Like with the rest of the WotFS exception Vivian. I'm going to have to redesign her again. This portrait came out more like a pinup then intended and her design is partly to blame as it's still too sexual in spite of the character's nature. Which will cause this to appear a bit sexist (unintentionally). Making this the worst of the bunch (Springs will likely be second worst now that I think about it). Each Portrait is meant to also reflect that character as well but Winter's is probably better if it doesn't reflect her directly, something I'll have to keep in mind when I attempt this again later down the road. I have an idea for her new outfit but like the others it'll likely be shown sometime after the comic finally debuts. It's likely that all of the witches will just have outfits similar to Vivian's. As it's better to just play it safe and go with something completely modest.
Now about this pic. This started out as a thumbnail I sketched in a note pad before scanning it in at more then 10 times it's resolution. Redrew digitally in GIMP using the brush tool. Then colored and rendered all by hand using the brush tool. And touched up using the erase, smudge, and brush tools. She's meant to be leaning to the side but I screwed up the anatomy. Tried to fix it but it doesn't look like I succeeded. I'll ultimately have to do all of these again with the new designs later down the road. Legs are also off a bit too... in the end I just up and accepted that there was no way to save this.

Bio: A skilled Wise Caster from the mountain region of Lucidia Island whom Vivian hired to serve as the guild's "Winter" member. Eventually becoming good friends with her and the other members. Having a natural resistance to extreme low temperatures, Rin often loves to tease the other members whenever they complain about the cold winter weather and snow that usually results from her spells. From verbal to light clothing in the winter time and while casting said spells. Rin specializes in ice and wind spells. Combining the two to simulate extreme cold weather such as hail and blizzards in general. Living up to her nick name "Winter Goddess". While she has great offensive power, she tends to focus on defensive counters to slow or stop her opponents cold in their tracks.
Personality Tropes: At her best she has a gentle and charming personality. At her worst she's insensitive to others when it comes to the cold, and personal space, coming off more as a Aphrodite. Usually she's fairly upbeat and entertaining.
