I went there. I joined the fan theorists.8I ...Not quite, but still. I think the whole "Vitani is Nala's daughter" theory is quite interesting and maybe even the most realistic one of them.
There are many factors that make the theory sound plausible: the only characters with blue eyes, they seem to know of each other, which would suggest that Vitani lived in the Pridelands as a cub at the same time as Nala lived there. Then there's the whole ScarxNala thing going on. Which according to Disney isn't real, because they confirmed that Scar died cubless, but BUT WE DON'T NEED TO TALK ABOUT THAT. YES. ...Anyway.
In TLK II the line Vitani says during the battle sounds a little too personal and Nala doesn't seem to have any issue recognizing who is in front of her, despite not ever meeting Vitani throughout the whole movie up until that battle. So, I can see why people think that Vitani is Scar's and Nala's daughter that Nala gave up after Simba came to rule. Besides, the theory gives that battle scene a lot more meaning.C: Like... "bitch, how dare you give me up, I was your baby girl. Prepare to die now." Therefore, it's kwel. I definitely like the idea. Vitani doesn't have to be Scar's daughter... but we don't know who else Nala banged.C; Eh, eh?
