Gumdrop wants to prove that he's not just a crazy pie throwing, wedgie giving toon dragon. Gumdrop claims that he can be civil when he wants to be. So when a passer by asks the gentlederg for the time he is all too eager to respond in a gentlemanly manner :-)
(I guess the guy could count himself lucky that the time didn't happen to be 3:14am ;-P)
