Following on with Husky's family, the next one is one very special Evocanis. Some might already know, but for those who don't, this evo boy is non other than Husky's Life Giver (or for use humans; his father).
"A year after the first invasion attack, Chuksha, like many others found themselves roaming through Canis Major in looks for a Sector where they could settle in and call it home, after their peaceful race was desecrated by the machines. Another day passed and Chuksha still couldn't shake the pain of losing his family. But it was then that he knew it would be different. That day, he met two huskies that wandered alone also in pain through the recovering Canis Major; a male husky the went by the name Shamu, and his sister Hasky. Very words were interchanged, but they could feel what each other were going through. It didn't take long until they found themselves living together after a very warm friendship was forged between the three of them. Their stories were very similar, and this created a bond like no other; almost like a brotherhood. They embraced each other to overcome that pain of loss.
Not a year after, they casually met with two other Evos who were also in search for a new place to settle. those two had met each other under similar circumstances; a female husky mix named Fibi and a male shiba inu named Xy. After realizing how much Fibi and Xy had in common with them, Shamu, Chuksha and Hasky welcomed them and they all became a family. They finally managed to settle in a new Sector, and soon learned to overcome their horrible past. Not much longer, Fibi and Xy managed to give life to a pup. Surprisingly enough, much to their happiness, Chuksha and Hasky managed to conceive as well, almost at the same time. this was almost completely out of the blue, and a beautiful gift of life. Evos are known for not being capable of conceiving that easily, so these were marvelous news. This little pups would be seen as a sign of hope that Canis Major would recover.
... Unfortunately, a week after Fibi and Xy's pup was born, the nightmare began once again... The machines returned to finish what they started. This time they showed no mercy. They seemed focused on destroying Canis Major completely. In an unfortunate chain of events, Fibi was taken by the machines like many others by an unknown purpose. A heavily injured Chuksha fought alongside Xy and Shamu to save Fibi from being taken to the machine's ship. Hasky wished to fight, she still could, but she was deterred by her friends not only due to her still carrying twins in her belly, but because at that moment, she was the only hope for Fibi and Xy's pup. In a turmoil of chaos and the smell of blood, this was the last time that Hasky ever saw not only Chuksha, but also her brother Shamu and her two best friends Fibi and Xy...
No one knows what happened after... Despite his evident mortal wounds, Chuksha was seen bravely making his way into the machine's ship with his last breath in an attempt to save his friend Fibi; Shamu and Xy by his side... 15 years have passed and Hasky has long learned to be in peace with herself and accept what happened that day..."
Chuksha means so much to me. It made me tear up again when drawing him. It is now very painful to know that this beautiful Evo boy might not be with life; one of the responsible Evos for bringing Husky to life...
He is always remembered as a very strong and brave Evocanis. Hasky also describes him as being very gentle, loving and even a little bit naive, a trait inherited by his pup. How she wishes he could see how much stronger Canis Major and the Evocanis race has grown. How she wishes he could see his pup, Husky...
Just maybe he already has... he might be taking care of him from beyond were the stars meet...
