And I Love You So
Dulcinea
This covers took me some time to get right.

I first heard this song back in the late 1960s, and heard it again recently, and decided to try and cover it. There were no backing tracks available, so I went searching for midi or other possible sources of the marvelous picking pattern used by Paul Simon. Finally found one that needed a bit of editing to get exactly what I wanted.

Next was trying to arrange the key and vocals. I initially tries to do a three part harmony version, and that simply did not work very well. So, I tried a solo version with Birch's voice. That didn't work either. So, I went with Dipper's voice solo, then decided to try adding in Birch singing harmony and that worked.

And sounds very similar to the original by Simon and Garfunkel. I guess this proves that they knew what they were doing.

Backing track created in Guitar Pro 7. Original song written by Paul Simon and recorded by Simon and Garfunkel.

Question: Is Paul Simon's last name really Travis??
