"Rebooting... Loading..." An internal voice spoke. The world came into view however it was not one that he knew.
"Where... Am... I?" His view then shifted down to his robotic hands and then his feet. As he examined his body, he would see his paint has faded, dirt covered him and a large slash going across his chest "I am mostly undamaged..."
"Error... Cannot establish connection. Shall I attempt to connect again Hector?" The voice spoke again.
He then took another look around at his surroundings to find that he was standing outside in an open meadow. "Wherever I am... There's no point in calling for help..." He began to move, his joints making mechanical sounds with every step he took.
Half of his programs were either corrupted or just gone, making it difficult for him to do much for now, he couldn't even scan this strange place for any signs of life. As he marched along he noticed that many of the animals that he was passing by, were unlike any he had seen back in the text books of his creators laboratory. "How odd, I don't recognize any of these creatures, could I be in a Foreign land?"
As he pressed on, he was suddenly accompanied by a small squirrel like creature that perched itself onto his shoulder. before he had time to analyze it however, he suddenly heard a loud roar from above him. When he looked up, he was astonished to see a beast he was told was only a myth, a dragon.
"This settles that... I'm not in a foreign country... but... there's no logical explanation... so... where am I?" SD.H3CT0R asked as the lone robot now peered out over the sprawling landscape filled with all sorts of villages and creatures.

I thought of this idea a back in January of 2018 after playing much of Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild. As I played, the idea of a story in which a Robot of the future with a sophisticated AI is somehow dropped into a world of magic and myth began to form. Now i'm not 100% keen on this design for the robot but I liked it well enough to finish this drawing. If I decided to continue this story, his design may change, in fact it may be one of the other SD machines that I've made. Anyway, Enjoy!
