Character Sheet for Hemlock the Scorpion
Character Description
Hemlock is the last Scorpion. His kind had been eliminated by Eggman so he started working as a mercenary, hoping to find and kill Eggman. Upon meeting Sonic, and his future love Tangle, he changes his mind and travels the world to see it. He has an almost complete invulnerability, though if you manage to hit his abdomen you can cause severe damage to him, and also an excellent strenght, speed and agility, He can climb walls and has a sixth sense that allow him to react fast to any threat. His hands can turn into strong claws that can smash metal with ease and has a retractible tail capable of elongating up to 16 feet and can be used as a whip, a grappling hook or even to squeeze enemies. His poison is extremely dangerous, due to the fact that its composition changes every day so that it's impossible to find an anthidote. He's also immune to every poison known, including his own, and is a brilliant chemist, capable of creating almost any deadly poisons or anthidotes. He also carries poisoned weapons, like kunais
Personality
Hemlock is very serious, to the point of almost being grumpy, and is obsessed with doing things by the book and respecting the rules. Thanks to that, he's extremely choleric and easy to enrage if he sees someone who doesn't respect the rules or if he thinks that someone is messing up with him. When enraged he doesn't listen to anyone, not even himself, and this makes him quite reckless. Aside that, he's usually calm and collected, and deep down he cares for those who he calls friends. Tangle has also learned that he's very shy among women, due to him being basically a virgin at 25 years old... He had also shown to be quite egoistic sometimes and trusts only those who have earned it by defeating him in battle

Background/History
Hemlock was born on West Island, on the mountains called Toxic Tops located in the Toxic Forest, so called due to the heavy presence of poisonous plants and animals. While the male went hunting, the females collected the herbs for the Adulthood Ritual, which consisted in drinking a mix of the deadliest poisons of the jungle and then trying to survive. Those who did were proclaimed adults and gained immunity to every poison, those who didn't died in unbearable pain and their bodies were being disposed of. Hemlock survived his ritual at 15, the same day when Eggman came to visit his dad, the chief of the villlage, in order to acknowledge the secrets of their poison-making abilities. Not trusting the human, the chief kicked him out of the village, causing the anger of the mad scientist. His wrath came in the form of a blaze set in their village, due to fire being a natural fear of scorpions since their armor didn't protected them from it. The chief gave Hemlock a scroll and tossed him in the jungle while he burned with his village. Hemlock swore revenge against Eggman and started travelling the wolrd to find him
