That's right.  It's Knuckles as Black Panther.

The idea came to me during my first viewing of the movie.  ^_^

And since I plan to add on to this little piece over the next week or so, I will wait until then to explain why I did it.

Cool! Makes sense... who's Shadow though, wait never mind he's the Winter Soldier which makes Sonic Captain America.
Rotor is Iron Man because of the suit he has in the comics.
Sally is Peggy Carter
Tails is Spider-Man (because he's the youngest of the Freedom Fighters and a genius)
Nicole is Friday
Shard is Vision
Blaze is Scarlet Witch
Espio is Hawkeye
the rest will be a challenge however...
