ah, crappy cringe worthy art. just a comparison on how much my art improved and the few redesigns I did of Decay. I originally started with Decay having grey fur and green eyes but then decided to make his fur yellow and give him blue eyes because I had already created Zuka and I didn't want to be confused with the two of them when I drew one or both of them together. I honestly don't remember when I decided to give him heterochromia eyes. I had also made him a cutter and an alcoholic but decided to tone the alcoholism down and only made Decay cut himself when he was in the mental hospital. I also had him have a lot of scars but again just limited the scars to his right forearm.

there's a huge gap between 2005 and 2017 because in 2006 I was left the Sonic fandom with my characters cos I was like "I created so many characters I can make my own world and story with them." which I had been working for many years until I got back into the fandom thanks to Sonic Forces. and because a friend asked me if I was going to draw Decay, Valen and Dark again which at first I wasn't going to do but decided to draw them for fun. I'm glad I brought them back into the fandom.

I love Decay so much, I'm even working on a novel with him as the main character.
