I'd like to eventually create a massive comic or ongoing web-comic someday, so I wanted to practice a somewhat complex pose and basic comic shading/lighting, and to draw it as quickly as possible while using thin lines. I think it came out alright.
I had a lot of difficulty with that left arm in the back, however, so the title is partly inspired by that arm position and whether or not I did it correctly and it's also inspired if I'm doing comic quality / creation correctly.
In canon, however, Azerek is learning a fighting stance, most likely by Jathan after Azerek frees the group from captivity and joins the party. Azerek is quite inept at wielding a destructive hard-light phase blade correctly, even one of Serrenian origin, and over the course of the story Jathan teaches Azerek different stances, fighting styles, and tactics.
I imagined Azerek asking if he has the pose right, given the difficulty I had with drawing his arm.
