This to me is one of the funniest pictures I've ever done. Angry Grandpa as The Queen of Hearts is absolutely priceless but that face, God Damn that face...
And I've never been able to draw humans properly before, that's what gets me the most. I've always tried to emulate Pokemon's style of drawing humans and I've always failed miserably with it. This is the first time I've managed to draw a human properly and it just so happens to be Angry Grandpa of all people! =D
I'm sorry I did feel too lazy to add any detail to the background. I've really just abandoned the style I used to incorporate into my work where I would put an insane amount of detail into every single blade of grass, leaf on a tree or clump of dirt on the ground. I just don't feel it's worth the hassle anymore and I get far more enjoyment making these short, funny pictures that consist of a single joke then I ever have with anything else I've ever done in my entire gallery here.
So going forward, pretty much all of my art now is going to be focused on comedy unless my mood dictates otherwise. Anyone can really do the type of artwork that I make, nothing about my skills in art really makes me stand out all that well from the crowd, but it's my unique and sometimes flat out bizarre sence of humour that I feel can potentially give me an edge and help me stand out more as an artist.
I have a lot of fun making these pics and I hope anyone who comes across it gets a good laugh out of it as well. Thats a win/win in my book, so yeah going forward all of my art is going to be funny pictures like this. I have a ton of ideas planned which I won't spoil, but I want to do at least 3 more pictures with Angry Grandpa before moving on to a different topic.
