So once again the story.

There was a company which was comissioned by some sort of military force to train some of their specimens for a special night-commando project, that was the Oculus Corvi. They identified each of their specimen with quotient numbers, but in a unique and strange way: 1/0, 2/0 and so on. The goal with this identification was that their opponent spy activities could not estimate who they really are.

8/0 (Eight of Zero) was the crew's unique specimen, because he has some white feather on his body in spite of he is a Raven, like the rest of the crew and for that reason some from his crew hate him because the operation is being risked at each occasion because of his white feathers.
The solution to his problem the company developed an Active Camouflage cloaking device what was yet a prototype, but functional one. Not to mention the crew hate him for a second reason and that was his selfishness at each operation, but at least he led them to success.

Once an unexpected transdimensional invasion happened, 8/0 escaped quickly from the headquarters of the company where they mostly settled before. The invaders to this world called themselves as "Vindicators" while they were just conquering each and all property what living civilized creatures established on Earth. All the crew was assimilated and had been integrated to the Vindicators' collective mind and controll. Few of those survivors who have seen and could even told to others who they really are, they named these creatures as "Scare Crows".

Since the integration happened and obtained to all intelligence what each member of the former crew had they discovered that there is still one member missing from their units: 8/0. Thus Vindicators reprogrammed these Scare Crows to find 8/0, capture him and take him back to the Vindicators' base for integration.

8 knows certainly what is their goal, thus he tries to hide and stay alive, mostly he is somewhere in the Frozen Forest and here, the Scare Crows are about to look for him now.
