"GOTCHA!!" The bulky flareon sprang into the runt sized jolteon, managing to take the weight of his larger but younger companion laying on him. "Heh, supposed ya did!" Sholt retorted, not bothering budge Shlare off of him. The glaceon finally regained her composure after being frightened by the glomping going about. "I swear Shlare one of these days you'll injure one of us!" Shlace spat, looking away in a huff. "Now now, let them have their fun, not often we get a break in this world." The umbreon nearby responded, gazing over to his mates and the flareon between them. It felt like a family of three parents with their child sometimes, Shumbre thought, amused by their bonds this far in life.
The Shadow Guardians were on an accompanying job to a world unlike their own world: A world where light and dark blend in harmony! However as they have some downtime before they have to return home, Shlare the flareon wanted to explore around as whenever they do visit, they rarely stay for long. As the speed demon raced on and zipped away from the group, the other three sat along in the fields to await their eager companion's return. Before they knew it, Shlare already had finished his sight seeing, sporting a speedy return to pounce Sholt nearby.

Eh not much of a story this time, but wanted to write something as a scene whenever I think of one! Had this commissioned piece finished a few hours ago and I was really well impressed with it. Eventually I'll be drawing my characters more myself, but for now I wanted to get some art of one of my two main groups of OCs: The Shadow Guardians! :3 I've been making scenes and stories of these guys for 8-9 years, and I feel like, save for a few, no one knows about these guys that well. Hopefully I'll get to change that down the road, and get to share these guys more ^^
