Trying a side-project inspired by a suggestion of one of my Watchers.
Trying to make the character a Lynx, as one of the suggested species.
Lynx's look a little different than other typical cat species, so this is my first real technical problem.
In drawing anthro characters, it doesn't take much to make a mistake. It is easy to make an animal species look too similar to another species, such as keeping a Bear from looking like a Wolf or Otter ((Don't believe me? Go draw one, right now!!!))
To make this Lynx, making sure it looks cat-like, but also profoundly different than an ordinary cat, is challenging. My current skill level isn't too high, so I am struggling!
It'll be a while until I get a break from work, but this technical challenge is plaguing me. Here is a rough start, a reference point, so I can make some progress.
