So it's Friday night at the Castle and it's my turn to babysit Thirteen (not that she needs it) and Liza. I asked them if they wanted to play a board game.
The name of the game was Nightmare, also called Atmosfear in Britain and in its native Australia. Made in the 90s, it used a VHS tape as a timer and to give instructions. I didn't want to wear out the tape, so I found the video on YouTube and used that. (Given what I did to the laptop, battery life wasn't a problem. But I turned the Wi-Fi off, just in case.)
In the end, Liza won but we all had a good time! And I think she learned that not all good games are made by Microsoft, Nintendo or Sony.
Mine actually! Which was my (quite understandable) fear of breaking my wings. And in Nightmare, you're out of the game if you draw your fear. If the fear you drew is shared with another person, you're out of the game. If the drawn fear isn't one you have, you win!
