Ah, but the best mac and cheese is homemade. That mac and cheese in a box ain't real mac and cheese. My mom uses shredded cheese as a topping as well as mixing it in with the freshly cooked macaroni. She puts the macaroni/cheese mixture into a casserole pan and sprinkles the top with shredded cheddar cheese. After putting the shredded cheese on top of the macaroni/cheese mixture, she puts it into the oven to bake until the shredded cheese is melted and then it's ready. Now THAT'S mac and cheese!

Believe me, it is. When you did the macaroni and the cheese just strings out behind the spoonful of macaroni, all I can say is, "Mmmmmm." That stuff that comes in a box ain't worth eating once you've tried my mom's homemade macaroni and cheese.

Okay. I'll stop. Besides, I can't think of anything else to say about homemade macaroni and cheese that I haven't already said. But, I'm glad to know that you enjoyed(?) what I said about it.
