Looks scary but is a softy!

I had no true idea of how I wanted Quill's colors to be. I only knew of his body, muscular and tall and of course his blood red eyes. RockyFennek helped with everything else!

Thank you so so so very much

I just finished part 1 of Fang and Vapor and I believe you described Quill as being 7'3" tall.

That is true, however, I've modified everyone's heights since then. Quill is now 6 foot 8 inches tall.

Yeah.  I kind of figured that 7'3" was a little tall.  In my story, "Marooned on Tashoo", I originally had the Mory species 3 meters (9'10") tall.  Then, I stood next to a statue of the tallest known man to have ever lived (Robert Wadlow 8'11.1" tall) and said, "Nope.  No way a 6' tall human could fight a 10-foot tall person even to a draw.  So, I shortened the Mory to 2.5 meters (8'3") tall.  That made it a little more believable in my mind.

Yeah, I know that feeling of just seeing how big something actually is. I still have a few tall characters, over 10 feet, but they're dragons or other types of giant creatures.

I changed the heights because I know how tall 6 ft 4 in is compared to 5 ft 4 in, but a 8 foot tall character, it's hard for me to see except when I look at my ceiling. I was having issues trying to think of size differences in characters. There's a scene that I wrote where one character was fucking another, but he was like 7 ft and she was under 5 ft 8, iirc, anyway, I couldn't see that working, I couldn't see how he was fucking her but still kissing her like it was nothing. lol So yeah, I had to change heights

The reason for the original height of the Mory was that I had based them on lions and tigers.  I thought about how long a lion is (approximately 9 - 10 feet) and I decided to convert that to their height.  When I realized that a 6-foot tall human would barely reach the waist of a 10-foot tall character, the idea of a sword fight was ludicrous at best and ridiculous at worst.  LOL.  8 feet is still rather tall but a bit for manageable since the human would be about up to the middle of the chest.

I did that too for some of my characters, I think I did that for ..... oh.... oooh, I ALMOST spoiled something here... oooh boy. Anyway, yes, I have a few characters that I've based on actual length of animals. >

I have an upcoming character 13 feet tall and he's staying that height.
