Hey folks, have a Lamia! Not sure monster-girls count as "furry" but it's a mix of human and animal traits so close enough I guess?

I’ve been offered a series of commissions to create and design a bunch monster-girls, for whatever purpose I want; just so long as I create them. Chances are, I’ll be making a VN or something out of them in the long run :V.

So here is the first of many!

This is Carmen. She’s a Rattle-snake Lamia, And I tried to give her human half a mestizo descent. I want to make her have a kind of aztec vibe, but that decision came late in her design and so her “clothes” in the future will borrow more from that aesthetic.

I don’t really have much of a personality planned for her as of yet, so input is certainly welcome!

Had a lot of fun drawing this–next up is a tsundere harpy.

Rattlesnake? Does that mean she has a venomous bite?

Ya know, I didn't consider that. But probably!

Having said that, I think most snakes can bite with out inject venom so she probably can too.

A lovely lamia with some sexy scales. ;) She really does look like a fun character.

Lamia usually have the rep in fantasy of being exquisite seductresses, and she looks like she's got that down.

Yeah, she's definitely got that down. I miss-read "seductress" as "sorceress" at first though, and liked the idea so much that it's absolutely what I'm gonna go with as well. XD

Well, lamia have been known for being sorceresses as well as seductresses, so that works too!
