What does he mean by pay them a little “visit” (p.s when shadow said “knuckles, rouge and silver passed by” does that mean they raped him?)

I will never understand rape and revenge, I went into this hoping to understand the apeal, but I’m left asking more questions than answers (also why would knuckles and rouge do that to him, I thought they were his friends)
