I have been seeing arts about Leo with black eyes and I had to ask about it in Tumblr (since I haven't watch 2012 turtles) and I got the answer. Season1, episode 23! I was told this is good episode which also had scare some watchers so I was excited and I had HIGH hopes it would be awesome episode. I watched it and... Well, during whole episode my expression was this -> -_____- I was SO disappointed! It wasn't scary or anything at all.

Only good parts, what I liked even some in the episode, were the fact their eyes changed black after being infected and that Leo bit Raph. I really would like to like TMNT 2012, even a little bit so that I could watch the show but no. I dislike it so much for so many reasons, it's so badly made (in my own personal liking) and Mikey + his voice... For fuck's sake it all pisses me off so bad! He's hell annoying. I wasn't such big fan of 2003 Mikey in the past since in my liking he was too much of a goof but now, after seeing 2012 Mikey, 2003 Mikey is such a huge lovely darling!

Nick has screw turtles up so badly... and probably for good if they won't sell TMNT to someone else (Oh, 4Kids buy TMNT back and save it! Make it mature, dark and great again!)

If this needs warning because of "scary" eyes, let me know and I put some warning on! Thank you!

LOVE THIS but I do agree with you... I can´t watch the 2012 turtles.. I have tried since one of my best friends LOVE the show but I just can´t watch it!
I do not like the way they look, I do not like the way they speak, I do not like it AT ALL!!
I really do wish that NIck would sell their rights to TMNT to someone else.. I have the IDW collection TMNT series and there are SO MANY AMAZING artists collected drawing that series... they should get the chance to do a TMNT TV Series as well...

Thank you! I'm so happy that you agree with me but I have noticed that mainly older TMNT fans (around / over their 30's) are not liking 2012 either at all or just a little bit. Younger people / fans like it tho since that's only TMNT what they have seen so they have nothing to compare it on to.

I really wish TMNT would become great and ADULTS series again. It wasn't for kids to begin with so why it now has been made for kids? Because Nick doesn't give a shit about anything else than cute and super friendly (and idiotic) kids cartoons. Damn, if I would have money I would buy TMNT and hire most awesome fans in the group to create TMNT for adults :D

You are so right about that...
The 2003 series is just amazing... just as you already mentioned in a comment down below it has the best characters, best voice actors.. best everything!
I understand that times change BUT allowing Nick to do a series like that and turn it in to what they did is horrible to be honest :/

Nothing, in my eyes, never beats 2003 turtles. Except another TMNT series which would be at least AS GOOD as 2003 boys or better! :)

What Nick did is shitty indeed but they had to since their main viewers are 6yo kids so of course they can't show "horrible and dark stuff" what was in 2003 series etc. >___> Poor little kids can have traumas (kids are being overprotected for fuck's sake...)

i have to agree on this since it was the 2003 version that i grew up with and seeing them like this in 2012 version,it's no wonder they got alot of heat when they first came but now as we are in 2018 and they are STILL going with this style? oy...what else is next?

I grew up with 1987's turtles and I still love them since they are super cute in their own way and link to my childhood <3 2003 turtles I saw first time in 2015 and it was so huge and strong love at the first sight and I dare to say - If something HUGE and amazing won't happen in TMNT world, 2003 will always be my favorite (despite the fact I didn't like the style so much in Fast Forward seasons but I can forgive it xD)

The reason why 2012 are what they are is that Nick made them and Nick's viewers are little kids (and mostly their shows are aimed for kids in the age of 6). Also Nick has stated it doesn't give a damn about 2003 (most surely because it's not "kid friendly" in their eyes.) I found out long time ago in Tumblr that Nick's new TMNT show will be done in same style as Powerpuff Girls and... I'm not thrilled. I liked PPGs but that just doesn't fit to TMNT! Turtles aren't meant to be kids show originally so why ruining it now? Nick completely ignores us older fans and I would assume that Nick has more than enough shows for small kids.
