I've come to really enjoy graphite pieces. They're a lot of fun to just sit down and sketch out. This one, in all, took about two hours to do. Done on Bristol Paper, sketched with a 4H pencil, lines and shading with a 6B. Blending Stumps and a kneaded clay eraser put on the finishing touches.

Sweet. It's a rare treat to see traditional work in a digital world :D Awesome job my friend :D

There's something about it that's so satisfying. I love being able to see the finished product there in my hands instead of creating something that can only be witnessed on a computer screen or printed off by a printer.

I hear you. All my digital works start as a hand drawn sketch since I'm not too used to the tablet yet. Honestly, I've tried with the tablet and came out with blah results.... I think it's because I love the sound of pencil on paper that makes it more "artsy" for me XD

Well, for me it all came down to texture. My tablet was much slicker than a pencil on paper. It was like going from drawing on a pencil and paper to trying to draw on a pane of glass with an ice cube. After a while, I kinda got used to it, but I love my Intuos 4 all the better since it's actually textured to feel like paper and pencil.

Sweet, I've been dying to get an Intuous 4. For now I have the Wacom Bamboo Pen. I love it, but the pen it's a bit cumbersome to handle because it's so thick >.> But it works for what it does, so I can't complain too much XDD

Something about the thick tailed females just brings out all the curves in all the right places!
