I started thinking a lot on the Collector, and so, here are the results. ^^ I think he’s quite unique because in the game has similarities with bugs, but it seemed to me that his body was made of some ink-like liquid too. Using this interpretation, I didn’t covered his body with chitin or anything as I did in a previous version.
I added a little additional fat on the belly, because, well, I think it’s cute, and gives a little silliness for me.
And because I couldn’t sleep while I wrote this, here’re some of my other thoughts of the Collector: I mostly imagine him as a scientist who went mad by the time as the world turned upside down. And he changed with the world around him in his own way. I gave him a kind of a feral look too, to cover how smart and cunning he can be. But of course there’s no beast that can outsmart Ghost and Quirrel. (In my imagination those two wander together.) Well, the collector was collected, and they took with them. Actually I don’t know why, I just liked that dumb idea that they will have a smart but extremely annoying pet-like creature. I thought at some point the Collector will start to cling to them after the trio experiencing many things together along their journey. In the end, the Collector becomes a companion instead of a pet or a burden. Well, that’s all. I just like playing with ideas as usual. Hope you liked them.
