This picture is inspired by my real job, in which I'm in charge of labelling packages to get them shipped in an online parapharmacy. I sadly have troubles because my boss doesn't seem to consider my job important and always leave me in crappy situations in which I have to deal with to get the packages shipped when it's should be a primary mission : why send more people to packaging more packages when I'm already drowning in them instead of sending me help ? If you want to read more about my job, go at the bottom of this page.

So here I am, pouting about all those packages that can't get ship (change the color tape to green, and they really would look like those I ship irl, here they look like amazon packages, I'm told the autor has a bad history with this company).

Work has been hard, since there is many things not working correctly. Since I'm at the end of the chain, I get blamed for a lot of them, and I'm under a lot of pressure. Yesterday I exploded at my boss' lies about my position and I had a panic attack at work. Things have been harder and harder since our employers is discovering he is loosing money because cutting corners did made him money at first, but is now biting him in the back. But it's not the end of that story.

So, government officials in charge of checking if pharmacies don't break the laws came to our workplace today. They had been told about us by competitors and they checked a lot of things. Of course, since we did a lot of illegal stuff, they sure had a lot to go on. We did hide what we could (which made a lot of people panic) but they was no way we could hide everything since we do so much illegal stuff. So they took computer data, paper work and lots of lots notes, and told us our employer had already an history of breaking the law about pharmacies (but minor stuff so far) but until now they never came themselves to check it up. But after we got an article in the newspaper, the competitors had proofs we did illegal stuff (pharmacies can't have a secondary building who is further than a few meters away from the pharmacy itself, and we are 5 kilometers away). So they came, showed badges like policemen in movies and sneaked up around... they had already a long list of fines set up before leaving and they had only checked one building among the three of the pharmacy... Don't know how it'll change my job, but it is sure making unlikely I get renewed.

Being a low level employee means doing all the work, as fast as humanly possible, and you get paid the least.

The higher up you get, the more you can fuck up and no one cares (because once you get promoted high enough, you don't actually do anything useful except for get paid and go to lunch meetings where you get free lunch).

As for your work issues, just think of all the reasons why it's impossible to get your work done, and then blame all that stuff.
Make it sound like you REALLY WANT to get it all done, but this one other thing/person is slowing things down, and that makes you angry because you really want to do a good job.
Then maybe your boss will go hassle someone else for a while.

Take my advice with a grain of salt, I've only had two jobs in my life and I've never had a manager that was a full-blown asshole.

I know where most of the problems are, but my boss won't listen and my employer even less...
