A quick (for me - meaning it still took several hours) coloured sketch of a trainer with one of the best Pokemon ever.
I started with the image featuring a somewhat random trainer guy I just made up on the spot, but then I decided to trainer-ify myself instead and finished with this. As a result it kind of morphed into something of a self-portrait, and from a scene of “A trainer and his giant Salazzle” to “A giant Salazzle and her pet” hue hue hue. Gave me an excuse to practice humans, too.
I’ve been meaning to do some Salazzle stuff, then Pokemon Ultra Sun/Moon rolled around, in which you could actually get a totem-sized Salazzle of your very own. And that is awesome. Something about Salazzle being 3′11″ on average struck me as a little off. Totem-ifying her size fixes that up nicely!
I really do like Salazzle. Possibly my favorite Pokemon at this point, just behind Goodra.
