"Rissa is.. an odd one. Because we found her during the war, we don't know what her real name is, where she came from, or even how old she is.
Since she's a Sca'lee, we try to keep her out of sight as much as possible. Many of our kinsfolk still harbor an intense hatred towards her race, and we don't want to cause any incidents.
She currently resides with Liani and helps out around the tavern at times. I've heard that recently she's been becoming more and more curious about the outside world. We can only keep her hidden away for so long.."

Shadow's Echo is a visual novel I'm working on. It follows the reunion of a group of heroes one year after a great war, as they are forced to confront the parts of themselves that they thought they had left on the battlefield.
