Commission for Kapricus. He opened a hellgate to visit to his uncle for Spooktober. Little early (306 days, 23 hours, 23 minutes but who's counting) for the holiday, but he's an imp-patient goat.

An arresting icon.

Also your reminder that St. Peter's Cross is not a "Satanic" symbol, no matter what the Protestants might insist.

And at the same time, St. Peter's cross is a symbol of humility and unworthiness, which makes it a fitting symbol to mark demons and the impious, as they are unable to enter into the kingdom of heaven.  St. Peter himself was not worthy to enter heaven, which is why he stays outside to watch the gates and identify others who don't belong.

The symbol is fine here, and there doesn't need to be anything "satanic" about it for it to be a fitting marker for demons and imps.

That a very unique take on St. Peter's Cross, and a unique explanation as to why Pete's at the gates and not inside Heaven. I've never read either of them.
Most interesting.

Eerily beautiful--If I ever saw a print of it I'd snap it up in a heartbeat!
