I happened on a document on animating 4 legged animals online... It had some really nice info, the biggest of which is that in order to animate something you have to be comfortable with it, so you arn't allowed to over think the anatomy when drawing it.

After getting the bare basics down, I added a little more detail and bingo! This is the final version! Your faithful buddy by your side! I think he hears something! XD

But yeah, was gonna put this in scraps if anything, but when I finished I was just like... dang, this really DOES look good! So I shaded n' junk, then here we are.
