thought i'd give the choose-your-own-adventure thing another whirl just for fun. keep me in the habit of sketching everyday. this time a bit different. you'll read the story and fill in the blank. i'll choose the comment response using a random number generator, I PROMISE, no bias.

STORY SO FAR:
The kid sneaked out of his bedroom window, flashlight and backpack ready. He liked to explore places he shouldn't go. The 11-year-old boy heard of an abandoned subway terminal that looked relatively unchanged from fifty years ago. After looking over maps, he had a good idea on where to look.
Old sewer system with an entrance into a nearby drainage ditch was where he would begin his journey. His heart beat increased with excitement and fear as he made his way into the tunnel. The shadows cast by his flashlight made the spiderwebs dance in eerie cracks along the tunnel walls. He was a brave kid. Not afraid of spiders, roaches, or bats. However he did still use his flashlight to check himself of any creepy crawlies that might have stowed away on his shirt. With the light trained on him you could see he was a short, cute...
