My grandfather he likes to take random metal parts and make animals out of them but he puts a solar panel in it so its eyes glow in the dark. There very cool.

I am looking forward to seeing the end result on this.

my idea here is that I place the skull in the frame covered and surrounded by leaves and grass and when you move in front of it the eyes will glow red

Cool. I would so hook up a speaker that can be turned on so it's not always on but when it is is  growls at the passer.

Here is a cool trick get one of the music card one of the big ones take out the speaker carefully you don't want to bother the copper rings and take off the cardboard now get some cardboard that is thick so the holes in the rim are bigger than normal and attach it to the front of the speaker this will amplify the sound rather nicely but make it so it can't vibrate so you don't get a rattling sound if you are good enough with wiring you can do this I am not but I did mess around with a old audio card that was big some things played the sound well some did not the  cardboard is not the only thing that works. It is a cheap alternative.
