It's crossed my mind that I should make a font with my handwriting, so I can make these pages smoother. Though, I'd have to go from SAI to GIMP/cs/etc and that's annoying to me...

Just make the font and then once you're done with the SAI file, save the image, open it in gimp/photoshop and add the font there. Means you can keep sai for doing all the work then add the text as a layer on top of everything else afterwards :)

Plus you're lucky you've got readable handwriting X3 But yeah, whenever I have something that needs text added, I do the pic first, save the png and then open that in photoshop to add the text over the top. Makes life a lot easier and you don't have to deal with gimp's lack of tools or photoshop's horrible stability :P

Ooooooooooof, yeah I practiced a lot to get a font-like quality for my drawing script, it's cleaner than my penmanship but only by a little. I used to use calligraphy pens, so it's residual ;o; If you ever want fonts made, I could do them for you free x3
