2007 was the earliest and I believe the first time I ever drew Krystal of Star Fox Adventures' fame. At the time I barely was scratching the surface of what digital painting could do ( still had to draw on paper and later scan the image and used a mouse to do the colors ) That original drawing holds special significance to me because it spurred my resolve to dedicate my efforts to become better as an artist after a very long dry spell of uncertainty and doubt.
Getting back to that old image and updating it was a immensely rewarding experience.
Krystal has such a beautiful and deceivingly complex design, is it any wonder she is still a fan favorite?
