I ended up adhering so closely to my script I realized that I need to double-check it first and make sure that's reeeeally what I want to draw and how I want it to go.
I threw this down on paper in about 30 minutes. I've been trying to draw this for days but only now actually went through the trouble of visualizing everything or attempting to. Those last two panels are actually supposed to break up and form part of the stack of cards, but it's not easy to draw that accurately on paper, and it is super easy to do in a vector program like Flash by making a rectangle and rotating it.
And, yeah, it's normal for me to do my art by hand first, just like I usually do my writing in an actual notebook. Something about the tangible nature of it, despite lacking digital shortcuts (or maybe precisely lacking that!) forces me to be more concrete with my work and commit to it despite my insecurities.
And, right off, this is probably less a sex comic than an attempt at a true doujinshi. I can probably point at my inspirations by [Digital Lover] (the other actions can be found through here) and Ill Met By Starlight and other stories that elevant the simple task of "fanwork" to something approaching an art form.
I'll probably fall a bit short, but I can always try.
[/edit] Product of the livestream this weekend on Saturday. Pony Saturdays are always pretty awesome for productivity of certain commissions. I can't access the LiveStream chat too quickly but ... hey. Streaming with Xsplit and it works, that's something.
I always enjoy doujinshi more than just plain sex-comics. Hentai images do turn me on, but there's something to be said for, if you'll excuse the term, the buildup before the climax.

Looking forward to seeing more... You know, only recently have I started to realize how much work goes into these images.
On an unrelated note, I went to an Asian resturaunt and got a fortune cookie. My fortune said, "You will benefit from developing your artistic skills". I found this amusing in light of my recent purchases of artistic supplies and my resolve to take up drawing as a hobby for the first time since high school.

Ok that's interesting, how did you get it from looseleaf into the final pic. Either you drew it twice, or you traced it digitally. I just find it impressive that this is basically remastered looseleaf sketches. The implications are huge... =0
