Had a shitty week of shitty weeks. Not gonna get into it, suffice to say it has to do with money, but basically you might have noticed I stopped doing my nightly request streams. Well, I stopped painting for pretty much the whole week, didn't have time or energy to put into it. This was a value study I did for kicks to get back in the swing. Should prolly do more, the lights are way darker then they should be.
On the subject of my needing money, I took a small trial commission. Seeing what things work for it and what don't, feeling my way about. The last time I took a commission was in high school, it's been 8 years. If it goes well I might open them up on a regular basis. This wouldn't stop my nightly free request streams, but anyone who started one and felt like getting it finished, but wasn't winning the game could turn it into a commission at a reduced price(based on how much of it was finished). We'll see.
in the meantime, I will be withholding the nightly requests for a bit. I have some work piled up that needs taking care of first. I thought i could do commissions, requests, trades, and personal works at the same time, but since I only paint about 4 hours a day(and less this week as it has been royally shitty) I need to focus on getting promised pieces out before taking on any more. This is not an end to the free requests, just a week or two hiatus while I sort things out. If it looks like I truly will be stopping them indefinitely then I will let you know.
