Character Description
Daniel is a domestic medium fur tabby whose ancestry hints to having lions in it, hence his large presence.
Jack is also a domestic medium fur tabby whose age is actually unknown. He appears to be a medium aged domestic cat, around 5 to 6 years of age, but has not appeared to age in many years. His weight remains around 7 pounds, or 3175 grams, is an "outdoor" cat, but after spending many years with Daniel, has learned to be outgoing. Has a masculine voice, and meows with more of an 'ow' when doing so quietly. Tolerates being held, and enjoys being carried indoors on Daniel's shoulders when he returns home. Has learned to tolerate the same from Katie and Ananda.
Personality
He's generous, generally friendly especially at his current age, but is largely an introvert and keeps to himself. His closest friends call his generosity self-serving, which Daniel does not disagree with.
Likes/Dislikes
Likes: Cubs, classic cars, classic rock, "turf" as it relates to surf and turf, traveling, capitalistic and libertarian ideals
Dislikes: Authoritarians, "surf" as it relates to surf and turf, being stuck at home
Background/History
Daniel has had an adventurous life up to this point. As a teenager his mother passed away, which led him into a very awkward spot. At 16 he lived alone, but was fortunate to have his father's blessings and his truck to get him to school. His teenage years were adventurous, but once he started college, depression from his mother's passing really kicked him hard. It was during that time that Jack, his companion and doppelganger, joined his life. Jack helped rid Daniel of several suicidal thoughts.
At around age 29, Daniel had enough of his boring life and found enough money to travel on his own for the first time ever. This renewed his life, and opened the doors for many new adventures.

Body
Heavy, naturally muscular build, but as an adult is rather overweight. Since adopting children he has lost some weight. As a teenager, he was considerably less overweight.
Stands 6'-2" or 188 cm as an adult, can stand digitigrade. Weighs about 300 pounds or 135 kilos.
Retractable claws on all fingers and toes. Right ear has been clipped in the same manner as a feral cat who gets trapped, sterilized, and released.
Clothing
Usually wears standard t-shirts and cargo shorts, pants if needed or if he's outdoors around temperatures of 50°F-10°C. Wears comfortable walking shoes, or hiking boots if walking around a lot. Will wear polo shirts in a more formally casual environment, like conventions.
Accessories
Doesn't really have any jewelry, but as a teenager he did wear his class ring often, and frequently wore his heavily decorated letterman's jacket. He still has this jacket, as it was the last thing his mother bought him.
Is always seen with sunglasses while outdoors; they clip securely to his muzzle. Also has a pair of safety sunglasses which are worn as goggles.
