Sol has amassed a lot of knowledge over his years. Among them holidays of different creatures and worlds. One such holiday stood out to him however and he loved the basis behind it. Thanksgiving, a holiday where one looks back on the year. The good and the bad, and those that reached out a hand to you, to take you from the bad. To be thankful for the friends and family that are accepting and loving for what you are and who you stand for. To give thanks to those who continue to be the pillar of your foundation. Who will be the light you need when you can't find any yourself.
These things is why Thanksgiving is both Sol's favorite holiday, and mine. This year was long and difficult. I had more darkness then I knew what to do with... I came to the brink of destruction, but found my salvation through all of the great people in my life. For that I give thanks this year, for all of you who are close to my heart. Thanks for helping me make it this far. I hope that we will be together this time next year, and I can give thanks all over again.
So, Sol and his family sit down to celebrate this holiday and he got to show off his cooking skills! Preparing the food and gathering the people that mean most to him, Sol and his family enjoy Thanksgiving dinner together. Thankful for the moment he met each and every one of them.
