And it's finished though I may go back and touch it up a bit more. A Pinup of Fleurette a.k.a Spring. A member of WotFS, (Witches of the Four Seasons).
After scanning it in, I basically redrew and colored it but never worked on the background or rendered Spring. Until recently when I was in the mood to draw this character a few times and decided to finish this. The rendering as well as the background was all done by brush making more use of Brush Dynamic in GIMP then I usually do. Mainly Pressure Size on top of the usual Pressure Opacity. As well as Alpha Channel locking during the process. Switching it off when doing corrections and some of the touch ups. Foreground petals where also done by Brush. The Total Layers ended up being 47 out of 53 in use. A Lot yes but mainly because this was an older CG from right before I started optimizing and organizing my layers. That said I did merge several layers to keep this as low as possible. had I did this now from start to finish, that layer count would be below 40 at most. Hopefully I did the drop shadow of the tree branches above her well enough to be noticeable this time around. As that will be the main thing I go back and fix up should I decide to go back and tweak this some more.
