Originally just two struggling plumbers from Brooklyn, NY (no thanks to those confounded Scapelli's), these men would end up traveling to a parallel dimension, winding up in the chaotic city of Dinohattan on a mission to rescue the lovely Daisy, who turns out to be its beloved Princess, from the clutches of the dreaded Koopa, who is dead set on using her for his plan of merging the dimensions and wiping out the entire human race.

I'm probably going to get a lot of backlash from the avid haters for this, but I legitimately like the Super Mario Bros. movie.
It's nowhere near a cinematic masterpiece, don't get me wrong, but for what it was I honestly think it's an enjoyable film. In fact, my VHS copy of it is the very first thing that I've ever actually bought with my own money.
Funny trivia: because of this movie I even call the Super Scopes in Smash Bros "Devo Guns" whenever I use them. XD
I honestly wish Nintendo put the movie outfit in Mario Odyssey. That would have been amazing.
