okay, so...
Eggman captured Charles, but one of his machines had a problem, it exploded when Sonic came to rescue his uncle, and Eggman and Charles fusionned, Keeping Charles' look, but Eggman's mind, heh

Eggman lie to Sonic, hiding he's still alive in Charles' body, making Sonic believe he is Charles, but planning secretly for Sonic's destruction
i'm not really good at fan fiction and creations, but i try ;u;

That is true. There is a reason why they keep appearing everywhere. The very reason why they become clichés in the first place is because people like them so much that they are still continued to be used over and over again.
