An ambitious toon, with a guest production designer given top billing in the credits. Our Host does that unusual short proud.

Thanks-I loved the art deco design they gave it!

There was a handful of tremendous Art Moderne' toons from the time, that really serve as a great time-capsule for us today of what was the Next Big Thing in design back in the 1930s.
Ever see this one?

And unlike later Art Deco tableaus, say Tarnaa's City of Science from Heavy Metal, these aren't revivals: they were the real deal, from when this look was IT!
I'd also advise the Fleischer Bros. run of Superman cartoons from the early 40s, and of course both Tocotta & Fugue In D-Minor AND the Pastoral Symphony from Disney's Fantastia. Totes Moderne'.

Thanks for the link-I have seen that Fleischer Studios cartoon about the World's Fair! I love its art deco style too.

I think I remember this. wasn't it about a bellhop delivering a letter to what he thinks is some really hot chick and it turns out its some little kid?

Yes-you have a great memory! The bellhop has a dream about it-the glamourous movie star turns out to be a child!
