Verve is a Musimon that is quite modest and shy for being a 'cool dude', maybe it's just an act to try and push down that timid personality, even then it shines through at times. There's also his love for music of all kinds, just hearing something new get's him all jazzed up! No pun intended.
Everest on the other hand, DOES intend all his puns; he's a trickster and pervert, very different from a normal Chakmon. After meeting Verve, he latches on to him, literally and figuratively. Who's personality would win out in the end do you think?~
