After being accepted to the resistance for his bravery and courage for saving their own and the will of Irene's mother who actually know Sumi's real father she ask her daughter Irene to train him. Irene has worked him to the ground using moves he could not calculate and strength he can not match she has exhausted him to puddy. When Sumi asked if he may have a break she simpily said yes because she knows what he's going through. She may not be the sharpest of people when she placed his head in her chest which made Sumi question her as leader.
