Hello dreamers! It's my birthday today!

As I've said before, it takes me a long time to do original artwork, because I have to design my own characters and then I second-guess the design constantly (including in subsequent images).

That does triple fudge a la mode when the character is me! Yes, it's my "fursona", finally here after about 15 years. (He's also the dreaded authorial self-insert in my work but I'm better at it than a 90s->2000s sprite comic author so don't worry about it.)

The "S" in FibS is capitalized because it's a contraction of my character's unwieldy fantasy name, Fibriel Solaer. (But I just pronounce it "fibs").

He's angry-sad because I get angry-sad when I have trouble outputting original artwork at any kind of regular speed and wasn't feeling so great when I started the picture about a week ago. I feel a lot better today, though, since I got it done-ish on time, so don't worry!

I was hoping to get an actual background in, but the important thing was to get an initial character sketch. This design (mostly clothing) is very much not-refined and might change a bit in the next few images of the character.

I'm keeping Rhubarb as my profile pic though. She's cuter.
