Into the forest.
Jenna smiles while rosy packs packs her suit case to go with her parents on a short vacation the next morning.
Jenna has plans to go and visit her daughter aleu while her and balto's owners are away she can't wait for aleu to meet her new brothers and sisters.
In the living room of the house balto whispers to his pups. So remember to be up bright and early balto says looking down at his pups.
How far in the forest does aleu live? Wesker asks looking at his dad? She lives deep in the forest so that's why we have to be up early because it's a long walk to get to her balto says looking at his son.
I can't wait to meet her bubbles chirps in feeling excited about meeting her big sister. Balto just smiles at her. I bet she can show us what it's like to live in the forest sandy says while she wags her tail looking at her sister.
I hope she can show us how to hunt like wolves piper says while balto looks at him. Son we don't need to hunt balto says having a light laugh looking at his son.
We are related to wolfs but we have human families to look after us and feed us so we don't need to hunt balto says while piper mumbles to him self with disappointment.
Balto watches as his owner steve takes some of the suit cases out to the car for their journey in the morning.
Hey Barbara do you have the snacks and drinks ready to take with us steve calls out as jenna walks into the room. Yeah i'm just putting them in the refrigerator to keep them fresh Barbara shouts back at her husband.
Are you pups excited about seeing your big sister tomorrow? Jenna asks while she wags her tail looking at her pups.
We sure are mom wesker says while his mom sits next to his dad. I can't wait bubbles while her tails wags with excitement jenna had told them all about their big brothers and sisters.
It's bed time balto says while looking at his pups. All the pups cheer hearing this normally they would complain about going to bed but now the have some thing to look forward too in the morning.
Balto laughs as his pups rush to their basket to sleep for the night. Ill tuck them in jenna says as she follows her pups.
In their bedroom jenna listens to her pups talk about the fun times they will have when they meet aleu in the forest the next day.
You pups are in for a great time jenna says as she pulls the sheet over her pups to tuck them into bed for the night.
Mom what's it like in the forest? wesker asks. It's so much fun jenna says while she rubs her sons head. Their are all kinds of animals and birds and so many plants and trees just use your imagination jenna says while her pups get comfortable.
Thanks for taking us bubbles says while her mom leaves the room. Aleu is going to love you all jenna says as she turns off the light and closes the door behind her.
Jenna smiles feeling happy about seeing her daughter again it's been a good while since jenna last saw aleu and she cant wait to catch up with her and find out what she has been doing since she and the others went their own way in life.
You coming to bed? balto asks as he walks up to jenna. Of course jenna says as she follows balto and joins him for the night as their owners lock up the house for the night.
the next morning steve finishes loading the car for their journey while rosy and Barbara put out plenty of food and water for their dogs while they are away. And make sure the dog door is open so they can go out if they need to.
Balto watches as his pups eat their breakfast while jenna looks for something to take some of the food with them when they leave the house after their owners have gone.
I'm so excited bubbles says while looking at her brothers and sister. I hope they go soon I can't wait to meet our big sister she says while wagging her tail.
I can't wait to see what the forest is really like piper says as he finishes eating. I bet it's full of birds and squirrels for us to chase around wesker says looking at piper feeling happy while balto smiles down at them.
About twenty minutes later rosy hugs each of the dogs and says good bye to them in turn as she leaves the house along with her parents. Don't worry boy we will be back in a few days steve says as he pets balto. Balto smiles and wags his tail at him as he leaves the house and closes the door.
Both balto and jenna hurry to the window and watch as their owners get into the car and drive away. Balto turns his head and looks at jenna she smiles at him while wagging her tail.
Is it time to go now? Sandy asks with her tongue hanging while she wags her tail. We have to wait a little bit just encase they forgot something jenna says while looking down at her pups the all grumble a little feeling annoyed about having to wait longer.
Don't be like that pups balto says reasuringly. It will give us some time to get ready too balto says to them while giving them a loving smile. Ill get started jenna says as she scoops up some of the dog food into plastic bags to take with them.
Balto goes and grabs some blankets for the pups to sleep in while they are away. The pups watch tv while they wait until their parents are ready to go.
About one hour later jenna and balto turns off the tv. Jenna smiles down at her pups. Come along pups it's time to go jenna says wagging her tail. The pups cheer feeling happy as their tails wag franticly with excitement.
Lets go balto says as he walks out of the dog door followed by jenna and the pups. Out side jenna helps balto strap the food and blankets to balto's back. The pups laugh seeing this their dad looks like a mule with packages on his back.
Were finely going bubbles says with excitement as they start walking down the road. The dogs are careful not to be seen just encase any human spots them and calls their owners to say the dogs had left the house.
Piper looks behind him and can see the village behind him getting smaller as they walk away from it. This is going to be great wesker says looking at his brother and sisters. While they see the trees of the forest ahead of them as they walk.
I hope aleu is not busy balto says as he walks along side jenna. I don't thinks she will balto she knows that we are coming to see her so I bet she has freed up as much time as she could for us jenna says while looking at balto he can't wait to see his daughter again.
As they walk the forest comes closer and closer until balto stops and sniffs the air. Can you pups smell that? Balto says turning to look at his pups they all sniff the air. What is it dad? Sandy says as she sniffs.
That is the smell of the forest balto says wagging his tail. The pups could smell the trees and other plants as they come closer to the entrance of the forest.
It's a wonderful smell jenna says while looking at balto as she walks with her pups behind her. The pups could hear the birds chirping in the trees as the enter the forest.
So where's aleu? Bubbles asks. She's deep in side the forest balto says turning his head it will take us a little while before we meet her and her pack.
What's a pack? wesker asks with a curious look on his face. Jenna turns and sits while looking at him. A pack is a group of dogs are wolves that live and work together in order to survive and live in the wild jenna explains.
So are we a pack? Sandy asks while looking up at her mother? Jenna smiles down at her of course we are sweet hear jenna says looking at her.
Yeah we are a group of dogs so we are a pack balto says while sitting down. The pups feel proud hearing this. But we don't need to hunt any animals for food balto says while laughing a little looking at piper.
All I want to do is try hunting piper grumbles to him self while lowering his head. Lets keep going balto says as he gets up followed by jenna and the pups.
Along the way the pups have fun chasing squirrels until they run and hide up a tree. Balto and jenna enjoy watching their pups laughing and playing as the walk deeper into the forest.
Jenna smiles feeling happy knowing that soon she will see her daughter again. She wonders what her daughter has been doing since she and the others left home.
As they walk jenna and balto enjoy the sounds of the forest around them as their pups run and play. After about an hour they stop to eat some food.
So how far in to the forest is aleu? Wesker asks while chewing his kibble. She shouldn't be to much further jenna says while looking at her son while they eat.
I hope we get their soon my paws are starting to hurt piper says while he blows on his paws to try and ease the pain in them. Don't worry piper before too long we will find jenna and her pack and you can all rest balto says as he bites a plastic bottle of water over a bowl to puncture it so they can have a drink.
Out of the corner of his eye balto spots something in the distance and quickly turns his head to the left. Is every thing okay? Jenna asks while looking at balto.
I thought I saw something balto says while still looking in the distance. What was it? Jenna asks. It looked like some one was watching us balto says thinking it could just be his imagination. But he could swear he saw some one duck down when he looked over.
Jenna just smiles at him. Maybe it was just a deer running in the forest or a bird jenna says while looking at balto. Yeah your probably right balto says when he looks back at jenna. But he still felt a little spooked by it.
After eating jenna helps balto to put the things on his back again before they start walking deeper into the forest. As they walk the pups notice the forest start to get darker and the trees and shrubs around them become more dense they walk deeper into forest.
The sounds of birds and other wild life seem to dissipate as the forest starts to close in on them. The pup feel a little worried as things start to get darker and more quite as they walk further into the forest.
While walking balto thought he could hear running in the distance he turns his head to the sound but sees nothing. Jenna turns her head when out of the corner of her eye she spots something that quickly disappears from view.
Is every thing okay mom? Bubbles asks seeing the face of concern of her mom. Yes every thing is fine jenna says turning her head to look at her daughter.
As they walk both balto and jenna can't shake the feeling that they are being watched the further they go into the forest. Walking behind their parents the pups look to their Wright when they hear the sound of sticks cracking and the leafs of a shrub shake as if some one was in it.
Feeling scared the pups quickly walk closer to their parents. Balto and jenna quickly look to their Wright side when they see one of the shrubs vibrate as if some one had just rapidly moved from it.
The sound of sticks cracking and snapping around balto jenna and the pups gets louder and they notice more and more shaking and rustling of the shrubs and bushes around them.
Both balto and jenna feel worried for them selfs and their pups with the noise and commotion around growing quicky.
The sound and motion stop for just a moment until a large group of wolves burst out of the shrubs and surround them. Jenna quickly grabs hold of her pups that shake with fear.
Balto stands in front of jenna using his body as a shield. Jenna holds her pups tight against her as they wine and shake with fear seeing the wolves all glaring their teeth and growling at them. Jenna feels her pups shake with terror as they look at the angry wolves that surround them.
We don't want any trouble balto says nervously as he puts his arms around jenna and his pups. !OUT SIDERS! one voice calls out loudly. Balto jenna and the pups see one of the wolves stand in front of them.
Out siders are not welcome here the wolf says angrily while showing his teeth. Balto gulps hard while looking at him.
I want to go home now wesker says with fear in his voice as he holds on to his mom. We wer...were just balto starts to say. !SILENCE! the wolf shouts out while looking at balto.
Listen we don't want any trouble jenna says with a shaky voice while she holds on to her pups. What are we going to do with them? Another wolf asks while looking at his friend.
He looks at balto and jenna with an angry look on his face. We will take them to the elders they will know what to do. he turns and starts walking.
Balto jenna and the pups have no choice but to follow him as his pack escorts them along the way. Balto and jenna knew it would be a bad idea to try and escape fearing they would be attacked and killed by them.
The pups look at the grey haired wolves around them some growl at the pups while other stare angrily at them and their parents while they walk.
Along the way they pass lakes and rivers and climb small hills and pass through dense parts of the forest jenna thinks about aleu she worries that something bad may have happened to her.
Jenna turns her head to look at her lover. Balto do you think aleu is alright? Jenna asks showing a face of worry. Don't worry jenna aleu is a strong dog i'm sure she is ok balto says while trying to hide his own fear for his daughter.
The alpha wolf stops and turns to look at balto and jenna when he hears the name aleu. Did you say aleu? The wolf says giving balto and jenna a firm look. yy..yes she's our daughter she came here when she left home.
The wolf laughs out loud for a minute. Hey boys you remember aleu don't you? The wolves all burst out laughing. We sure do another one of them says while looking at his friend.
!WHAT HAVE YOU DONE TO HER? jenna shouts with anger and fear for her daughter. !SILENCE! the wolf shouts out while looking at jenna she backs off in fear along with her pups.
I hope our sister is alright sandy says while looking at the other pups. What have you done with her? Balto asks showing a face of anger and rage.
Balto wants to attack him but he knows at the moment that is not a good idea because he fears for his pups.
You will find out shortly the wolf says as he gets up to walk. What is your name balto asks while looking at him with anger. You will call me storm The wolf says looking at balto for a minute before he turns and continues walking a head of them.
We will soon reach our den storm says as they all continue their journey. I hope they don't eat us piper says while looking at one of the wolves showing their teeth. Every thing will be ok sweet heart jenna says while rubbing his head softly.
Balto jenna and the pups notice more and more rocks and some caves while they walk escorted by the wolves. Storm stops when he comes to a river a tree laying across it like a bridge.
You will all follow me storm says as he climbs on the tree and walks over it followed by the dogs and wolves behind him. The pups watch the water flowing under the tree as they walk across it until they reach the other side.
This way storm says as he walks over to some caves followed by the dogs and his pack of wolves. Balto and jenna knew they had reached the wolves den because of the smell of wolves in the area.
Storm stops in front of one of the caves and turns to look at his pack that in circle balto, and their pups. Keep them here I will fetch the elders storm says before he walks into the cave.
Out side the dogs hear storm talking to some one in side for a few minutes until they hear a lot of foot steps coming their way. It's going to be okay balto says while he wraps his arms around jenna. Jenna shakes with fear while she holds her pups strongly against her body.
A lot of wolves run out of the cave and look at the dogs with curiosity until they make room for the elder wolves to come out. The elders sit and look at balto and jenna for a minute.
Balto could tell by their looks that these wolves are much older then the rest their fur is a light grey compared the others hwo have a strong grey look and their eyes are orange in colour while the others have blue eyes.
Storm why have you brought these dogs and their children to us? one of the elder wolves says while looking at him.
We found them in the forest storm says as he walks over to balto and pulls the items off of his back and throws them down on the ground. The elders see blankets water bottles and food scattered on the ground.
And the mentioned aleu storm says when he turns back to look at the elders. The two older wolves look at each and and smile for a minute.
Storm clean up this mess while we talk with them the other elder wolf says while looking at balto and jenna. Storm begins picking up the mess and starts putting it back while the two elders look at him.
Balto and jenna look at the older wolves and can see one of them is missing part of his ear that looked like it had been bitten off. Hello my name is arnou and this is bardolf the first elder wolf says.
We look the same but as you can tell I'm missing part of my ear bardolf says while touching his ear while balto and jenna look at them.
So now we know your names what are you going to do to us? Balto says while looking at the wolves with some fear that can be seen on his face.
Storm what have you and your friends been up to? Arnou says while looking at him. Storm starts laughing while he puts the dogs things to one side. I'm sorry I couldn't help it storm says while laughing and smiling at balto and jenna.
I made us look like we are a vicious pack of blood thirsty wolves storm says while trying to control his laughter. We got them good storm says while holding his belly feeling pain from laughing so much.
The two elder wolves roll their eyes while looking at him. We are sorry if all this scared you. Storm is the joker around here bardolf says while looking at balto and jenna.
We are a peaceful pack of wolves and wont hurt you arnou says while looking at balto and jenna they sigh with relief knowing that they are safe.
Sorry if we scared you another wolf says while smiling at the dogs. Yeah it was all a big joke storm says while resting his paw on balto's shoulder.
The pups look around and can see a lot of the wolves trying to contain their laughter while looking at them. Jenna walks up to arnou and looks at him just a minute.
Where is my daughter? Jenna asks while looking at him. You mean aleu? Arnou says while looking at her. Did some one says my name? A female voice calls out behind the wolves.
Balto and jenna smile and their tails go into over drive when they see aleu walk out of the cave. !ALEU! Balto and jenna cry out as they race over to see the daughter.
!MOM, DAD! aleu cries out happily as she hugs both her parents they wrap their arms around her hugging her tightly.
It's so good to see aleu says happily while her tail wags. We've missed you so much balto says when he lets go of his daughter.
The elder wolves smile seeing the happy faces of the dogs. The pups wag their tails feeling happy seeing the sister for the first time ever. It's been so long since we last saw you aleu jenna says while looking at her daughter.
So is she our sister bubbles says as she and the other pups walk over to see aleu. She sure is balto says as he leans down to look at his pups. Aleu we want you to meet your new brothers and sisters jenna says as she rubs her pups heads slowly.
The wolves and the elder watch as balto and jenna introduce aleu to her new brothers and sisters. This is bubbles balto says while aleu looks at her and can see her grey fur has patches of light spots on that look like bubbles.
She so cute aleu says while bubbles smiles at her. And this is piper jenna says while she pets him. Hello piper aleu says while looking at her. How did you get your name? aleu asks while looking at the little grey pup.
Well after he was born he some how got stuck in a large pipe and we had to pull him out so we named him piper balto says while he looks at jenna while she smiles ans remembers that.
This is wesker jenna says when she pets him softly. Hi aleu wesker says while he wags his tail. Aleu smiles at the pup his fur is the same colour as his mom. I named him after my dad balto says.
And this is little sandy balto says while he rubs her head. I bet you named her because of the light golden look of her fur aleu says while giving a loving smile to her sister. You got that right jenna says while looking at her daugter.
Now that we know your names why not join us for dinner the elder wolves both say at the same time. We've so much catching up to do aleu says as she and her family walk into the cave to eat.
