I'll take this moment to clarify that Adele lives in a world termed Synpheria, a world setting completely different from that of Saber Dust. Most of Synpheria's habitation lies among floating land masses that periodically emerge and descend from the thick cloud layer below, providing replenishment of resources. As a result, airships dominate the world, with some larger settlements made up of a conglomeration of them.

A landmass still exists beneath the sea of clouds, but the entire surface is rendered virtually inhabitable due to frequent seismic and volcanic activity, and the surrounding airspace is equally hazardous with permanent storms of ash and thunder. 4 out of 5 aviators agree that falling into such zone would be most perilous and should be avoided at all costs.

4 out of 5 pirates also agree that the same zone makes a great place for dumping troublemakers.
