I hope you can forgive me. For these thoughts that I have, and the wishes I desire. That beyond my insistence and doubts, quietly and meekly I glance your way. That despite my best intentions, and age old reservations, I feel helpless and young again.
I hope you can forgive me, for waking with worries and wonders when or if we might see one another so soon. That behind my composure and concise words, there is a gentle tone I had forgotten about, and can hear again. I hope you can forgive me, that I feel so selfish with these thoughts that wander and wonder. I pray in these states of sharp and softness.
I pray...and I hope you can forgive me, that I find my heart has turned your way.
