So for the umpteenth time, I've fallen into one of my Courage crazes again, specifically thanks to a fic written so beautifully by the ever so awesome courage09 on dA
I had joined a Courage based club on dA so long ago, and would often see the stories updated quite actively and saved them in my inbox to one day read them (I've been procrastinating on checking every inbox on every site I'm on OTL)
And now that I have finally begun, I can't put it down.
I can't stop reading it.
I'm now... -checks- on Chapter 113 after reading it within the past 4 days. I'd probably read even more too if I hadn't been occupied catching up on other things. It's a great story, and my god you can't help to love or even at least appreciate every character that's introduced or very much involved. Please go give his stories some love. You should also see all the sketches another fellow fan draws for it (they're hecka cute, seriously)
With that all being said--
I decided to just do a simple warmup on Courage. I wanted to kinda mesh my style with the show's original style. It looks a tad wonky but it /is/ a quick draft of a doodle/paint. I'll keep working on it.

As for the second doodle, I couldn't resist drawing the babbu looking cute with his bum innocently shown
This has no corelation to the fic I mentioned previously, and is very much just a personal thing for myself.
I was still practicing on how I can draw Courage, and this was an attempt at developing an Anthro style for him
I might tone back the "humanesque" features of his feet and hands to make them more "dog-like" to better fit the story if I decide to stick with this style, and of course, I'll make sure his rump is not an actual defined bottom, heh
This way it'll keep an /almost/ pinup-y feel to it while maintaining it's innocent cuteness
I feel that this style hear would help me best portray emotion and action, but we'll just have to see how it develops and what I decide to go with (it wouldn't hurt to just stick closely to the original style, too, while giving it my own twist)

I'm just excited, and I wish no longer to speak on empty words. I wanna do this. I love Courage too much and always have since I first started watching him when I was a kid. I want to devote everything into one of /the most/ beloved fictional characters that I hold dearly in my heart, and that's what I'm gonna do when I find the right free time for it! I'm excited and very much optimistic to share and contribute as much as I can for all the hard work Courage09 has put into his stories <3
I have high plans to take it upon myself to tackle a personal project of drawing out scenes or even short comics in regards to every Chapter of the story (it'll be hella time consuming but so much fun!) but that won't come until I've cleaned off 80% of my currently owed art :heart: (maybe I can work on it mildly in between work, who knows!)
